Setting A Record to replace the IP Address streaming

It does not taste good if you have to experience the turn of the IP address because there is a problem. While not easy also to inform the listeners about the turn of the new IP. We quite understand that. From our little hearts, we just want to give the best for service users streaming .
Actually there is a solution if you already has an address domains . That is by setting the A record in DNS Zone your cPanel. A record is what will replace the IP Address streaming. Eg: live.klikhost.com. So the previous shoutcast URL: http://203.29.26.164:8012/listen.pls can be replaced with http://live.klikhost.com:8012/listen.pls. If the IP addresses change, you can simply delete the A record and create it again but with a new IP address.
Here are the steps:
1. Log into your cPanel hosting your
2. Click the icon "Simple DNS Zone Editor"

3. Note the column under the heading "Add an A Record". In the column "Name" fill in, for example: live. Then in the "Address" enter the IP address your shoutcast.

Then click the "Add a Record".
4. Done. Wait a few hours until the A Record can be accessed to replace the IP Address.
Remember, too, if you update the IP address on the A record, it took about 1 hour to a maximum of 3 × 24 hours to get an effect. It is dependent control of each connection that is used by the listener.
Good luck!
